Pentre Farm can be found in Old Radnor in Powys, we are a small family run care farm operating from our farm and offering a mobile service alongside.
We started our adventures emerging from national lock down, with a young toddler Sam (owner and founder) started by offering outdoor playgroups for parents and children. The animals featured heavily in these sessions and from this family interaction sessions were launched. As the world started to be able to function again and we were permitted to socialise and be indoors once again the animals began visiting elderly members of our communities residing in care homes.
This sparked everything we are now, realising the power and magic that animals posses, and the connection we are granted by spending time with them we have branched out our services with our trusty team and now have a small staff and a huge cohort of friendly furry friends on the farm!
Today we can offer sessions on the farm for your group or social club, we can visit you in a school or a residential facility, we can bring our animals to meet patients in a hospital or people in a hospice, we can join you at a birthday party, we can even come to the local carnival and set up a pop up farm.
